Students at Istanbul Kültür University may choose to pursue a Minor Program in addition to their primary undergraduate program, if they wish. Students who successfully complete both their major and the Minor Program receive a minor certificate along with their undergraduate diploma.
The Department of Economics offers two Minor Programs:
1. Economics Theory Minor Program
2. Money and Finance Minor Program
To successfully graduate from the Minor Program, students must complete a minimum of 34 ECTS credits, including at least 10 ECTS from required courses and at least 24 ECTS from elective courses in the field.
Students enrolled in a Minor Program are not required to pay any additional tuition for the second program, in accordance with the provisions set out in the “İKÜ Çift Anadal ve Yandal Programının Esaslarına İlişkin Yönerge” At Istanbul Kültür University, students who are eligible to graduate from their primary major but have not yet completed their second major may be granted an additional period of up to two semesters, upon the decision of the faculty/school board of the second major program. The tuition fee for double major education, including the extension period, is determined by the Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees has decided that no tuition will be charged for the two-semester extension period granted for Double Major and Minor Programs. Students who are unable to complete the second major within the extension period will be subject to the tuition conditions of their primary major.
