One of our Department of Economics academics, Assist. Prof. Tuğba Özışık presented her verbal notice titled “The Information and Communication Technology Use of X and Y Generation Academicians” to the conference titled “25th Annual Conference on Education” held in Greece between 15-18 May.

An event titled "Economics Graduate Conversation" was held by the Department of Economics on Monday, May 23, 2022, with our 2013 graduate Gizem Woods as the speaker. The online event where Gizem Woods, who works as a financial reporting specialist at the headquarters of Zurich Insurance, shared her experiences, and gave career-oriented advice to our students, was moderated by Deputy Head of the Department of Economics Assist. Prof. Dr. Merve Hamzaoğlu. 

A conversation titled “The Near Future of the Automotive Industry” was held by the Department of Economics on Wednesday, May 11,2022, at the Basın Ekspres Campus conference hall and, simultaneously via CATS online. Citroen Turkey Marketing Director Zeynep Durusu attended the event as a speaker, in which Assist. Prof. Merve Hamzaoğlu, Deputy Head of the Department of Economics was the moderator. In the conversation, the situation of the automotive industry in the world and in Turkey, the effects of the pandemic and the expectations for the future in the industry were discussed.
